Adecco is recruiting for a Shipping / Material Handler Associate for a client in Syracuse, NY. This opportunity pays $19-24/hour, depending on experience.
Duties:
Own the Shipping Process: Coordinate and manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and accuracy in documentation.
Keep Us Organized: Track and manage inventory levels, perform regular cycle counts, and help maintain inventory accuracy.
Ensure Quality: Inspect all shipments for accuracy and compliance, identifying and addressing discrepancies.
Be the Communicator: Act as a key contact with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to quickly resolve issues.
Champion Safety & Cleanliness: Follow safety protocols and contribute to a clean, well-organized shipping area.
Drive Improvements: Bring ideas to the table and help streamline processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
Qualifications:
Experience: 2+ years in a shipping, logistics, or warehouse coordination role.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient with SAP preferred, along with Microsoft Office, and common shipping software like UPS and FedEx systems.
Detail-Oriented: You catch the small stuff and know it makes a big difference.
Strong Communicator: Comfortable working across teams and with external partners.
Problem Solver: Calm under pressure and great at finding practical solutions.
Team-Oriented: You’re reliable, collaborative, and thrive in a team setting.
Pay Details: $19.00 to $24.00 per hour
