Adecco is assisting a local client in filling a direct hire Site Operations Manager in East Hartford, CT. This is a 1st Shift opportunity working 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM with availability on some nights and weekends as needed.
The ideal candidate is a data-driven leader with strong experience in KPI tracking, sales and marketing operations, inventory management, and cross-functional leadership. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site leadership to a team of ~30 employees, including direct management of ~5 team leads or supervisors
- Manage daily site operations with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and compliance within a federally regulated environment
- Own and optimize a $65M spend portfolio, driving cost efficiencies and performance improvements
- Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for operational, inventory, and sales performance
- Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to support business development efforts and customer satisfaction
- Oversee inventory and materials management, ensuring accuracy, availability, and security in alignment with defense contractor expectations
- Lead internal meetings and represent the site in cross-functional and customer-facing meetings
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and negotiate terms to support operational needs
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, team development, and accountability
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in operations, distribution, or site management (experience in a regulated industry preferred)
- Proven leadership experience managing medium-sized teams (20+ employees), including multiple direct reports
- Strong understanding of KPI development, tracking, and reporting
- Familiarity with sales, marketing operations, and customer relationship management
- Solid experience with inventory management and vendor coordination
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with internal teams, external partners, and clients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted
Preferred
- Experience in or exposure to federal defense contractor operations or supply chains
- Proficiency with ERP systems and data analytics tools
Pay Details: $95,000.00 to $105,000.00 per year
