Job Title: SMT Operator
Location: San Jose, CA
Pay: $27 – $31 per hour
Job Type: Temp- Hire
About the Role:
Adecco is looking for a full-time SMT Programmer to join our team in San Jose. You’ll be responsible for programming and running SMT machines to build printed circuit boards (PCBs). This includes creating machine programs, reviewing customer files, verifying first articles, and checking for quality.
What You’ll Do:
Review customer documentation and CAD files
Create Pick and Place (PnP) programs for SMT machines (Yamaha YSM20, legacy Yamaha, Fuji AMEX)
Set up and run SMT machines
Verify and inspect First Article builds
Check boards for placement accuracy, solder quality, and orientation
(Optional) Assist with AOI programming (KohYoung, Photodynamics)
What We’re Looking For:
2+ years of SMT programming experience (required)
Experience with SMT components and assembly
Familiarity with CAD file formats (Gerber, ODB++, XY, etc.)
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel)
Knowledge of ESD handling
Requirements:
Pay Details: $27.00 to $31.00 per hour
