Our company has recently developed robust additional service offerings in the world of online review management as it relates to online review monitoring, listings management, responding, requesting reviews, content management and more. We are ready for a rock star Senior Director, Business Development to join us and tell the world all about us and secure new business.

For over 20 years, we were really focused on being the very best at delivering our original core services of helping companies evaluate and improve their CX. With our online review management business unit, we now complete the circle for our clients around customer touchpoints and feedback. We bring a holistic world of customer experience awareness and improvement to small and large businesses.

You will work directly with the VP of Global Business Development to continue emerging this business from the ground up. This is a role for someone who wants to be an integral part of continuing to build something new and unique that will differentiate us from the competition. We expect you to have “been there and done that” - already knowing what to do and how to sell social media management services, with a proven track record of demonstrated success across different verticals.
In line with our company’s values, you’ll be highly professional, will sell ethically and consultatively and always with the client’s interests top-of-mind. You will be someone willing and not afraid to pick up the phone and negotiate major partnership deals with high-level, C-Suite decision makers. A person who recognizes real opportunities and how to steer clear of high-effort/low-reward traps. You don’t confuse action with results.
We’re not expecting overnight success, but we know what we do will help clients, and we are already starting to build the client portfolio. We have current relationships with more than 200 companies, and with some of the top global brands, so we absolutely believe the right person can achieve success in a short time. We are also looking for an individual to think outside the box and prospect for new client opportunities based on research and insights for which organizations match our target profile and have a need for online review management services.

Experience working and selling in a virtual and in-person environment is a must. You know how to use virtual meeting rooms and can manage video calls like a pro to present to and communicate with potential clients.
Requirements:

  • At least 5+ years of business development experience, working with medium to enterprise level clients

  • Experience managing client relationships with up to 100+ companies

  • Experience managing a book of business in excess of $2 million

  • B2B business development experience

  • Ability and experience engaging and selling to executives and C-Suite professionals

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills

  • Proficiency with sales management software and CRM

  • Personal integrity

  • Ability to travel as needed based on client and/or target lead needs or requests for in-person meetings.

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Business development or sales background in social media platform solutions, selling to decision making brand executives at the Director level or above

  • Demonstrated track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads

  • Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism

  • Strong organizational skills

Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
