Adecco is assisting a Fortune 500 client in recruiting for a Staff Accountant in Dublin, CA. This is a full-time temporary position in Dublin, CA.

Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant include but are not limited to:
Prepare journal entries in compliance with GAAP and the company’s policies and procedures. Support entries with proper documentation and approvals.
Maintain and reconcile assigned accounts. Process and reconcile monthly lessor charges payments to general ledger at store level.
Responsible for assigned account reconciliations, variance analysis of Lessor Charges (CAM / INS / RET), Rent, Property Taxes, and /or Store Fixed Expenses.
Responsible for reporting for retail, non-retail, and/or subtenant locations.
Budget planning and analysis preparations related to assigned areas of responsibility.
Assist in preparation of assigned areas for quarterly and annual external audits.
Special projects as assigned.
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for a Staff Accountant:
BS/BA Degree in Accounting or Finance.
1-3 years of experience in property accounting and/or related areas preferred.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong understanding of accrual accounting.
Good oral and communication skills.
Advanced Excel / financial modeling rounded w/ a proficiency of MS Office Applications.
Hyperion, Tableau, & Visual Basic Application (VBA) familiarity a plus
PeopleSoft familiarity a plus.
Results & detail oriented, with a strong emphasis on accuracy.
Ability to work independently or as a team member on projects of all sizes, prioritizes multiple tasks, and performs accurately with short deadlines.
