Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our supply chain team. The ideal candidate will be a primary point of contact for our customers and sales department, ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of orders from entry to delivery. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and hands-on experience with ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

Outbound Logistics & Customer Service:

  • Process customer purchase orders using our ERP system, confirming inventory availability and communicating details to the sales team and customers.

  • Serve as a direct link between customers, sales, and warehouse operations to verify purchase orders, confirm inventory, and coordinate transportation.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to accommodate special shipping requests and customer needs.

  • Prepare and manage all necessary documentation for our 3PL warehouse and carriers to ensure accurate order picking, timely pickup, and successful delivery.

  • Track all shipments from departure to final delivery, providing status updates and resolving any in-transit issues.

  • Issue sales invoices to customers upon successful delivery of all orders.

  • Coordinate with freight companies to handle and resolve any claims related to shipping documents, bills of lading, or delivery discrepancies.

ERP & Inventory Management:

  • Analyze sales forecast data to help the Supply Chain Management division optimize warehouse inventory levels.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise within the ERP system.

  • Participate in quarterly and year-end physical inventory counts.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

  • An Associate's degree (A.A.) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field; OR two years of relevant professional experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • High proficiency in the Microsoft Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and standard Windows operating systems.

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proven ability to multi-task with a high degree of accuracy and urgency.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to correspond with multiple parties simultaneously in a dynamic environment.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience with data entry and management within an ERP system.

  • Understanding of how ERP modules function in an EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) environment.
