Adecco is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a respected healthcare organization in Houston, TX.
The Surgical Technologist works in collaboration with Registered Nurses to support surgical patient care within the OR suite.
The anticipated wage for this position is between $ 45 and 49.3/hr. Hourly wage depends upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.

Key responsibilities include preparing instruments and equipment for each surgical procedure, scrubbing in and assisting surgeons during operations, and maintaining a sterile environment. The role also involves assisting with room turnover, instrument decontamination, and contributing to the orientation and training of new surgical technicians. The technologist must demonstrate knowledge of age-specific care principles and will support surgical procedures across various specialties, including Orthopedics (Mako), GYN, ENT, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, and Plastics. This is a PRN position providing staffing coverage for the ASC OR and serving patients across all age groups: Infant, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric.
Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Strong knowledge of human anatomy, aseptic techniques, and surgical procedures
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Demonstrated collaboration with RN teams
Experience in a fast-paced OR setting
Proven ability to assist with orientation of new staff
Familiarity with age-appropriate patient care
