Our client, a large hospitality group is seeking a Sushi Chef for their Seafood Restaurant to join their growing team. This position requires expertise in the below mentioned areas.

POSITION:
Sushi Chef is responsible for high-quality preparation, cooking, and production of dishes during service and have a good knowledge of recipes, ingredients, allergens, and food presentation. Experience working with different types of sushi is highly desired.
REQUIREMENTS:
Prepare and produce a variety of high-quality dishes as per guest orders, while following approved recipes & specifications in an accurate and timely manner.
Perform work on different kitchen line stations as per business demands.
Ensure that food quality, quantity, freshness, and presentation meet the standards.
Maintain department cleanliness and organization, adhere to safe work and equipment practices, and follow all food safety, health and sanitation standards.
Set up, stock stations, and replenish kitchen inventory and supplies as needed.
Complete any other task given with as required in a timely and professional manner.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Some experience in a full service, high-volume, fast paced kitchen or food service environment is a plus.
Minimum 2 years of experience working with all types of sushi is highly desired.
Culinary degree and/or certificate highly desirable.
Must have excellent knife skills and are proficient in all aspects of cooking.
Have experience on multiple stations in the kitchen.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
This position offers the following; a competitive Pay Rate, fully paid employee benefits, sick pay and paid time off and awesome career growth potential! MUST be vaccinated. The base pay range for this position is between $15/hr. -$28/hr. depending on experience and qualifications.
