  • Create work documents and improve your checking skills by reviewing the work done by newer team members.

  • Finish various tasks by the deadlines set by clients and given by your supervisors.

  • Follow the set ways for organizing documents, preparing work papers, and handling daily tasks.

  • Make changes based on feedback from supervisors.

Client Relationships and Service:

  • Always keep company and client information private.

  • Show you can work well under pressure and adjust to meet client needs and deadlines.

  • Present yourself and your work in a professional way to clients and co-workers.

  • Understand what clients need for their business, spot problems, and work with leaders to fix them throughout the project.

  • Keep leaders informed about how projects are progressing and any new issues that come up.

  • Build and keep strong relationships with clients by communicating regularly during projects and periodically throughout the year.

  • Respond to client questions within 24 hours.

  • Keep accurate daily records of your time for reporting.

Growing the Business:

  • Understand that business growth comes from both current and new clients.

  • Actively build a network of people who can refer business, knowing that every interaction can lead to a business opportunity.

  • Join professional and community groups and help with the firm's marketing efforts.

  • Continue to learn about the services the firm offers and expand your network to make the firm more visible.

  • Represent the firm by giving talks, writing articles, and contributing to industry publications and newsletters.

  • Take charge of your career growth by creating a personal development plan, tracking your marketing activities, and finding opportunities for ongoing education.

  • Accept helpful feedback and offer it to others to help improve performance.

  • Evaluate yourself after projects to find areas where you can improve.

  • Understand your department's goals and duties.

  • Make sure you meet the required hours for billable work.

  • Work towards understanding the role of a Manager and taking on more responsibilities at that level.

  • You might need to travel overnight occasionally to client locations and for training sessions.

Leading and Developing Others:

  • Guide junior team members on tasks based on their experience.

  • Learn how to give constructive feedback on work and provide comments that help those whose work you are reviewing improve.

  • Help train, supervise, and evaluate team members, and assist in preparing materials or teaching in-house training.

  • Offer helpful feedback to junior team members and be their main contact for daily questions.

  • Encourage cooperation and teamwork by being approachable and understanding of others' viewpoints.

  • Maintain good relationships with co-workers, clients, and supervisors by focusing on teamwork, being helpful, and considering others’ ideas.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.

  • Meets the requirements to pursue CPA certification or other relevant certifications.

  • High level of integrity and respect for confidentiality.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and a complex workload effectively.

  • Knowledgeable about firm policies and procedures.

  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and proactive.

  • Proven time and work management skills.

Pay Details: $104,000.00 to $136,000.00 per year
