Assembles products and test fixtures.  Provides technical assistance, support, and makes recommendations to the Design Engineers and other staff.  Complies with company policies and procedures, with particular emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction.

  Requirements:

  • Minimum of associate degree in electronics/engineering with two years’ experience in a production environment (medical equipment preferred) OR minimum of five years progressive experience in a production environment (medical equipment preferred)

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics for purposes of assembly, trouble shooting and repair

  • Ability to use all standard assembly and test equipment, including oscilloscope, calibration equipment, meters, hand tools, soldering iron, etc.  

  • Ability to use all standard office equipment, including computer, copier, fax, scanner, and digital cameras

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Familiarity with ISO standards


Responsibilities:

  • Assemble mechanical and electronic subassemblies and products

  • Document manufacturing and product test specifications

  • Work closely with engineer and QA/RA to maintain process control

  • Work closely with engineer to develop test and assembly fixtures for new products

  • Perform product testing and design validation

  • Understanding of Routers, Work Orders, Bills of Materials, and other standard manufacturing documents

  • Prepare product for shipment/Receive, inspect, and prepare incoming goods for use in production

  • Conduct tests that used for root cause analysis for product failures 

  • Work closely with engineer to troubleshoot electronic circuits, printed circuit boards, and assemblies and effect repair

  • Work as a team player and take initiative to complete all tasks in a timely manner

  • Identify and report safety and environmental concerns

  • Perform all work in compliance with company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements

  • Assist Quality Manager

  • Perform as backup for assembler

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
