Position: Staff Driver
Employment Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Compensation: $18–$20/hour + $6.00 per route gas reimbursement
Location: Rockland County, NY
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Staff Driver to assist in delivering meals and essential items to homebound individuals throughout Rockland County. This role supports a critical community program and involves driving up to three routes per weekday.
Key Responsibilities:
Report daily by 10:00 a.m. and remain available until 1:00 p.m.
Deliver hot and cold meals to individuals in need.
Support special delivery programs (e.g., pet supplies, emergency kits, care packages).
Use a mobile app to manage routes and delivery information.
Maintain safe and sanitary delivery practices.
Report any safety or health concerns to supervisor promptly.
Utilize your own vehicle for deliveries.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and proof of current auto insurance.
Clean driving record.
Reliable personal vehicle available five days per week.
Working cellphone.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Comfortable driving in various weather conditions.
Must be self-motivated, punctual, and dependable.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
