Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in Portsmouth, NH to bring on Test Technician. This is a full time, direct hire position.
Job Title: Test Technician
Pay : $22 – $26 depending on experience
Shift: 2nd Shift Hours
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Test Technician to perform electrical, mechanical, and optical testing on production products and incoming materials. This role ensures product quality and conformance through accurate testing, documentation, and data entry, supporting on-time delivery and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized tests on components and finished products per documented procedures.
- Operate and maintain testing equipment, tools, and fixtures; ensure calibration and proper use.
- Accurately complete test documentation and enter data into the ERP system in a timely manner.
- Report procedural, drawing, or documentation discrepancies to engineering and quality teams.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and follow established safety protocols.
- Communicate clearly with other departments and report special tooling or support needs.
- Support a collaborative and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or test environment.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and optical systems.
- Experience using test equipment such as ohm-meters, meggers, and optical testers.
- Comfortable reading technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and procedure manuals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and record accurate data.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed with little advance notice.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour
