Adecco is assisting the Commonwealth of Kentucky with a Training Coordinator in Frankfort, KY. We are seeking an organized and proactive Training Coordinator to support and train our Career Coaches. The Training Coordinator will be responsible for developing, organizing, and facilitating training programs and workshops to equip Career Coaches with the skills and knowledge they need to guide high school students effectively. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders and requires travel within selected counties.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Develop, organize, and facilitate comprehensive training programs and workshops for Career Coaches on career counseling, job market trends, and essential coaching skills.

  • Provide ongoing support and resources to Career Coaches to ensure they can effectively assist high school students in their career exploration and planning.

  • Collaborate with the Career Coaches to prepare and share up-to-date information on career exploration and job market statistics.

  • Assist in building and maintaining partnerships with school districts, community leaders, and organizations to enhance resources and program opportunities for Career Coaches.

  • Provide logistical support for training sessions, including scheduling, materials preparation, and coordination with venues.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.

  • Support Career Coaches in maintaining Salesforce CRM tasks, weekly communication, and case notes updates for students.

  • Travel to high schools and special events as required in selected counties to support Career Coaches.

  • Ensure training programs are accessible and tailored to meet the needs of diverse populations.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Associate degree required.

  2. Previous experience in training coordination, education, or a related field.

  3. Strong organizational and time management skills.

  4. Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.

  5. Ability to work with diverse populations.

  6. Ability to work independently without direct supervision.

  7. Team player with strong interpersonal skills.

  8. Valid Driver’s License.

  9. Background check required.

  10. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.

  11. Comfortable working in a hybrid environment (remote and in-person).

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in education, human resources, or a related field.

  2. Experience working with youth ages 16-21.

  3. Certification in training and development, such as CPTD (Certified Professional in Training and Development).

  4. Familiarity with career counseling techniques and job market trends.

  5. Proficiency in using training software and learning management systems (LMS).

  6. Proficiency in using Salesforce software.

  7. Demonstrated success in building partnerships with educational institutions and community organizations.

  8. Experience in developing online and in-person training programs.

  9. Knowledge of barriers to employment and strategies to address them.

  10. Proven track record of improving training program effectiveness.

  11. Experience in conducting needs assessments and performance evaluations for training programs.

Pay Details: $29.00 per hour
