Now Hiring: Travel Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: Day Shift – 730a-4p

Important: Applicants must reside 50 miles or more from Newburyport, MA

 

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience and at least 1 Travel assignment

• Must be proficient with diagnostic caths, interventions, Rotablator, IVUS, FFR and hemodynamics.

• Cardiac Cath experience required.

• IABP and Impella experience required

• ECMO experience preferred.

• Current MA RN License required

• Previous foundational ICU or ED experience preferred

• BLS & ACLS Certifications Required (American Heart Association)

• Covid Vaccines plus Booster required – declinations not accepted

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for procedures by reviewing medical history, obtaining consents, starting IVs, and administering pre-procedure medications

• Assist the interventional radiologist during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures (e.g., angiography, central line placements, biopsies, drain insertions, embolizations)

• Administer moderate sedation and monitor vital signs throughout the procedure, ensuring patient safety and comfort

• Respond to emergencies during procedures, including managing code situations or adverse reactions to contrast agents or sedation

Pay Breakdown:

• $1,800 per week (taxable)

• $1,519 weekly per diem (non-taxable)

Pay Details: $3,319.00 per week
