The anticipated wage for this position is between $19 and $20. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.
Job Title: Lab Analyst I
Position Summary:
The Lab Analyst I performs routine analytical testing in the Analytical Services Laboratory, supporting process control, quality control, product and process development, and waste management activities. This position requires 8-hour shifts with rotation across days every 3–4 months. Candidates must be flexible to work weekends and holidays as part of the shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine analytical testing following approved protocols and work instructions.
Accurately record, calculate, and report analytical results.
Operate laboratory instruments and systems, including LIMS, CDS, and instrument-specific software.
Conduct basic preventive maintenance and troubleshoot standard instrument issues.
Search and reference various databases to locate test methods, specifications, and standards.
Review analytical data and generate LIMS reports.
Communicate issues or discrepancies in testing, sample integrity, safety, or supply inventory to lab leadership.
Support lab operations by preparing solutions, cleaning glassware, and properly disposing of solid/liquid waste.
Train others in waste management procedures and ensure compliance with RCRA hazardous waste regulations.
Identify and communicate process improvement opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
Enter data for laboratory metrics and KPIs.
Notify leads when supplies or consumables reach critical levels.
Maintain good safety and housekeeping practices; participate in lab and site safety programs.
Communicate testing results to internal customers as needed and act with customer service in mind.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience
Strong oral and written communication skills
High attention to detail and ability to assess results against standards
Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and support lab productivity
Proficiency in diagnosing basic instrument issues independently

Pay Details: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour
