Job Summary
As a Warehouse Associate, you’ll be responsible for supporting daily shipping operations, managing inventory, and ensuring timely, accurate fulfillment of customer orders. The role involves working in refrigerated environments, using warehouse equipment (including forklifts), and following strict safety and food quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Complete all Quality Assurance training, including safety, sanitation, HACCP, and GMP guidelines.
Efficiently pick and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper loading.
Stock and store all warehouse materials and supplies.
Report any inventory damage or loss to your supervisor immediately.
Accurately measure, weigh, and portion ingredients or raw materials.
Remove and properly store any non-conforming ingredients or raw materials.
Operate equipment such as broilers, searing plates, grills, oil spray machines, and tumblers under supervision.
Safely and efficiently operate forklifts (both stand-up and sit-down).
Maintain records of raw materials/ingredients used, including weight and quantity.
Coordinate work with team members and other departments to meet production goals.
Follow all plant GMP, Safety, and Food Safety guidelines.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Experience & Skill Requirements
Must-Have:
Warehouse operations experience preferred.
Forklift operation experience (stand-up and sit-down).
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (Spanish a plus).
Basic computer skills.
Ability to perform basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in cold environments (freezers, coolers).
Previous experience in warehouse, shipping, or food production environments preferred.
Education Requirements
Minimum: Education equivalent to 6th Grade.
Preferred: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
Physical Requirements
Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for long periods.
Must perform repetitive motions as needed.
Able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
Comfortable working in refrigerated (+45-55°F), cooler (+25-40°F), and freezer (as low as -10°F) environments.
Ability to safely use and work around knives, grills, ovens, and other food prep and packaging equipment.
Work Environment
Fast-paced, deadline-oriented production setting.
Requires neat and clean uniform and hygiene practices in line with food production standards.
