Job Title: Material Handler (Forklift Required)
About the Role: Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Material Handler, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring efficient freight movement and timely deliveries. We're looking for a dedicated individual who is committed to safety and operational excellence.
Shift Details:
Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour
Location: Onsite - Laredo Texas
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like:
Assist with comprehensive shipping and receiving activities, including efficiently unloading trucks.
Accurately check in incoming merchandise and match purchase orders to sales orders.
Distribute processed orders to the sales team for further handling.
Read and interpret various orders (customer, work, shipping, requisitions) to determine items requiring movement, gathering, distribution, or shipment.
Fulfill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, and other stock items, distributing them to the shipping team.
Ensure the warehouse environment remains consistently accessible and safe for all employees and customer traffic.
Strictly adhere to all safety policies and procedures, completing all tasks in a safe manner.
What You’ll Need to Excel:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Required: Proven experience operating a forklift.
Ability to perform basic math calculations, both with and without a calculator.
It Would Be Great If You Also Have:
Availability to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, to accommodate varying freight volumes.
Prior dock or warehouse experience, particularly within the transportation or Less-than-Truckload (LTL) industry.
Experience in loading and unloading trailers.
Basic written and verbal communication skills.

Pay Details: $15.50 per week
