Warehouse Worker – Parsippany, NJ

Schedule: Monday to Friday 1am to 5pm
About the Role:
Adecco is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team in Parsippany, NJ. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth handling of shipments, maintaining inventory integrity, and supporting overall warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Prepare items for shipment by comparing identifying information such as counts, weights, or measurements against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other documentation.
Maintain and update shipping and receiving records meticulously.
Keep the shipping area clean, organized, and fully stocked to promote operational efficiency.
Collaborate closely with the Operations Department to review inventory records, determine product availability, and recommend suitable products or services to meet customer needs.
Accurately receive incoming materials, ensuring inventory accuracy and integrity at all times.
Pick orders, record lot numbers, and perform transfers on outgoing orders.
Manage surgical kits: pick, complete packing lists, check out requested kits, and perform transfers as needed.
Handle, ship, receive, and ensure proper storage of sensitive human tissue products following strict written procedures.
Monitor and respond to alerts from the LabAlert freezer temperature monitoring system to maintain product safety.
Perform additional duties as assigned to keep daily operations running smoothly and efficiently.
General Skills and Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Strong sensitivity to deadlines and customer expectations.
A team player who can work collaboratively across departments as well as independently with minimal supervision.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Proficiency in common software packages, including MS Office and ERP systems.
Ability to complete training and demonstrate safe handling of materials, medical devices, and equipment.
Experience with shipping carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and similar logistics providers is highly preferred.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
