Adecco is now hiring in North Fort Worth a Warehouse Safety and Security Supervisor.
The Warehouse Safety and Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of safety, health, and security within the warehouse environment. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, implements safety programs, investigates incidents, and leads efforts to maintain a safe and secure workplace for all employees and visitors..
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with OSHA and other applicable regulations.
· Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
· Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses; document findings and ensure timely resolution.
· Facilitate safety training sessions and toolbox talks for warehouse staff, including topics such as PPE, forklift safety, emergency procedures, and ergonomics.
· Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and training in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
· Promote a culture of safety through regular communication, coaching, and reinforcement of safe work behaviors.
· Supervise and maintain physical security systems including surveillance cameras, access controls, and alarm systems.
· Monitor entry and exit procedures for employees, visitors, and vendors to ensure compliance with security protocols.
· Investigate security breaches, inventory shrinkage, theft, or unauthorized access incidents.
· Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services as necessary during incidents or emergencies.
· Train staff on security awareness, theft prevention, and emergency response procedures.
· Supervise and coordinate the work of safety/security team members or contractors.
· Work closely with HR, operations, and facilities teams to support business goals and employee well-being.
· Recommend improvements to warehouse layout, processes, or equipment to reduce risk and enhance security.
Qualifications:
· 3+ years of warehouse experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
· Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics best practices.
· Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
· Ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
· Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
Ability to work in varying temperatures and warehouse conditions.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
Experience with safety audits, incident investigations, and emergency response planning.
Familiarity with warehouse operations, access control systems, and surveillance equipment.
First Aid/CPR certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
