Job Type: Contract (6-10 months with potential for extension)
Pay Rate: $30 per hour
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:45 AM to 6:00 PM or until completion. Will work every 4th Saturday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced DC Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership background and the ability to hold tenured associates accountable. This is not a desk job; we need someone with a true team mentality who is willing to step in and help whenever needed.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team in a warehouse environment, ensuring efficient operations.
Hold team members accountable and maintain high performance standards.
Assist in various departments as needed, including Shipping, Receiving, Replenishment, Reclamation, and Cycle Count.
Use computer RF to enter records and maintain a neat, clean, and hazard-free work area.
Ensure consistent, reliable attendance.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years of warehouse management experience in a dock environment (e.g., UPS, FedEx).
Proven people management experience; candidates with only hourly team lead experience will not be considered.
Experience with forklift/other PIIT (though operation will be rare).
High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
Strong mathematical skills and the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
Physical ability to perform job duties, including standing, walking, lifting up to 100 pounds, and working in a high-noise environment.
Special Requirements:
Must pass a forklift test with a score above 85%.
No previous employment with Advance Auto Parts preferred.
No requests for time off within the first 60 days of assignment.
PPE and Dress Code:
No open-toed shoes.
No cell phones on the floor.
Warehouse has AC but is typically hot.
Appropriate attire required (e.g., no thin strap tank tops, no visible undergarments).

Pay Details: $29.00 to $30.00 per hour
