Adecco is hiring immediately for a Warehouse Associate/Forklift position in Schertz, TX. Weekly pay starting at $18.00 p/hr. This is an opportunity that will give you valuable experience to enhance your career.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating Forklifts and Other Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move materials.
Loading and Unloading: Load and unload trucks, ships, and loading docks.
Inventory Management: Maintain inventory records, count inventory quantities, and report re-order points.
Receiving and Verifying Shipments: Receive incoming material and supply shipments and verify received quantities.
Warehouse Maintenance: Keep inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean and organized.
Following Safety Protocols: Adhere to all workplace safety regulations and procedures.
Assisting with Other Duties: Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, such as pulling inventory or moving stock.
Skills and Qualifications:
Physical Stamina and Strength: Able to lift and move heavy materials.
Forklift Certification: Certification to operate forklifts, if required by the employer.
Knowledge of Warehouse Operations: Familiarity with warehouse procedures and practices.
Communication Skills: Able to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Problem-Solving Skills: Able to identify and resolve issues that may arise.
What you’ll need to excel:
At a minimum, you´ll need:
• To be at least 18 years of age
• The ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator
It’d be great if you also have:
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends, due to varying freight volumes
• Dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry
• Forklift experience in a freight or Less-than-Truckload (LTL) environment
• Experience loading and unloading trailers
• Basic written and verbal communication skills

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
