Job Title: Weld Technician
Location: Fairfield, NJ
Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Pay Frequency: Weekly

🔧 Key Responsibilities
Operate TIG and MIG welding machines
Weld aluminum and steel parts (frames, legs, components)
Use jigs, fixtures, and follow blueprints or assembly drawings
Perform drill and grind operations as needed
Inspect and correct welds to meet quality specifications
Maintain a clean and safe workstation (5S standards)
Support safety programs and continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate with teammates on daily and project-based work
✅ Required Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, BOMs, and instructions
Mechanical aptitude and basic problem-solving ability
Strong teamwork, communication, and multitasking skills
Reliability in attendance and punctuality
Comfortable navigating computer-based production boards
Welding experience preferred (not required)
⚠️ Work Environment & Physical Demands
Stand for up to 10 hours/day
Frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs., occasionally up to 100 lbs.)
Regular bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting, and pushing/pulling
Exposure to dust, fumes, and warehouse temperatures (no A/C)
PPE Required: Steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, welding mask, gloves, sleeves, jacket/apron
Pay Details: $17.50 per hour
