Job Description
As a Workday Administrator, you’ll play a key role in configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the Workday platform — with a focus on the Benefits and Core HCM modules. You’ll collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and Technology teams to deliver scalable solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and align system performance with strategic goals.
This is a remote role, with preference for candidates in the Central Time Zone (CST) who can occasionally travel to Kansas City if needed.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and configure Workday HCM and Benefits modules, including open enrollment, EIVs, and integrations
Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement resolutions
Manage security roles, user permissions, calculated fields, and business process configurations
Develop and manage Workday reporting, especially related to Benefits data
Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
Configure, test, validate, and implement system enhancements and new features
Document system changes and provide training/support to end users
Support annual open enrollment and ongoing benefit audits
Proactively manage Workday performance and uptime
Participate in release management and upgrades with a focus on Benefits and HCM modules
Must-Have Qualifications
4+ years of Workday experience, including:
2+ years of direct configuration in Workday Benefits
1+ year in an additional Workday module (e.g., Core HCM, Recruiting, etc.)
Strong experience in Core HCM and Benefits integrations (e.g., EIVs, open enrollment)
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Located in or able to work CST time zone hours
U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (No sponsorship available)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with the Workday Finance module
Workday Pro certification or other relevant certifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, HR, or Business-related field

Salary up to $135K
